Do I pay taxes?
You will pay 8.0% sales tax if your purchase is shipped within the state of Georgia unless we have your re-sale tax number on file with a tax form filled out and signed.
What is an “antique jewelry”?
By definition in the jewelry industry, an antique is 100 years old.
What is “estate jewelry”?
Estate jewelry is a term used to describe previously owned jewelry.
What does “style” mean?
Style means a piece is made “in the style of a certain period” but not made in the period.

What about shipping and insurance?
When you check out, shipping and insurance charges are calculated on the value of your item(s). All items are shipped 2nd day Fed Ex and are insured for the full purchase price.
How much does it cost to have my ring sized?
Sizing in Gold
Ring sizing down or up to a size 7………………………$30
For every additional size or fraction thereof
Over a size 7…………………………………………………$10
If a ring has an extra wide shank, please add 50%
Sizing in Platinum
Ring sizing down or up to a size 7………………………$50

Can every ring be sized?
No. There are some rings that can’t be sized. Sizing is not recommended for some diamond eternity bands or enamel rings. We do use a jeweler in New York to size previously unsizeable rings using the Laser technique. We will give our recommendation as to whether a ring can be sized.
Will my purchase be appraised?
All purchases over $1,000.00 will receive an appraisal which will allow you the option of insuring your jewelry. Most insurance policies do not require appraisals on items under $1,000.
Does Southern Classic Jewelry have a Layaway Plan ?
Yes we do. We offer a 60 day payment plan at no interest or extra charge. We require a 1/3 payment at the time of purchase, 1/3 payment 30 days after purchase, and the final 1/3 payment 60 days after purchase.
What is your return policy?
Please do your research and know as much as possible prior to purchasing. All sales are final. You may return an item in its original condition within 24 hours of receiving the item for a full store credit. No cash refunds. Remember, the item MUST be postmarked or shipped within 24 hours of receipt to qualify for full store credit.
